6th Webinar - Approaching the education of students with special educational needs

On Friday 11th December 2015, the 6th MARCH Webinar was successfully completed. The webinar titled "Making Science Real in Schools: Approaching the education of students with special educational needs" was co-organised by the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education in Western Greece and the Educational Radio-Television Directorate of the Greek Ministry of Education.

The webinar had 25 participants with Greek nationality and 2 Hubs (connection knots) in the region of Western Greece (Junior high school of Palairos, Municipality of Aktion-Vonitsa, and the Regional Training Institution of Alexandroupoli). They shared views and experiences regarding special needs students and STEM Education, and found the live webinar presentations by both speakers "great" and that there was a "great variety of using robotics for special needs students’ learning". The participants now look forward to engage in activities proposed by the MARCH project.

Further feedback evaluation information, links to the presentations and the recorded session, pictures, the programme and the speakers' biographies can be found in the full report (pdf).
